Creating art has been at the center of my life for more than a decade. Every photograph begins with an idea and is personally sourced, styled, photographed, and edited by me.

As an independent artist, a significant amount of my time is spent documenting and addressing unauthorized uses of my work—time I would much rather spend creating. Making children’s books renewed my connection to my work and reminded me why I began: to create wonder, connection, and joy through color. I want to keep following that feeling into new photographs, books, and creative projects.

Wright Kitchen is an independent, one-woman creative studio. Voluntary contributions help support the ongoing costs of creating original work, including materials, equipment, photography, studio expenses, book development, and production. This support gives me more freedom to continue creating and helps make the next project possible.
